The painting “There Will Be Bread” (“Буде хліб”) was created by writer and poet Iryna Batalska specifically for the Make Loaf Not War project in August 2025.

The inspiration came from golden wheat fields with their ripe ears of grain, as well as stained glass windows — their vivid colors dancing in the sunlight.

This painting is filled with light and expresses a strong will to live.
