The work is created using wheat flakes and reflects the current state of Ukraine—fields soaked in blood, a cruel sky, and a solitary half-dead rye stalk standing alone. Despite all the violence and destruction, truth and dignity remain unbroken. This work serves as testimony to the resilience of the Ukrainian people in the face of overwhelming force.

Additionally, it references Ukrainian culture and the national flag: the wheat ear symbolizes all those who stand until the end.
